I find chair yoga helpful through mindfulness, controlled breathing and movement giving me the ability to relax and sleep better at night

All you need is a chair. This is a gentle, accessible class you can join from home, anywhere in the world.
Even a little slow movement is better than staying still.
We use breathwork, slow stretching and movement to help you keep moving, including the whole body, followed by relaxation. You stay seated, or use the chair for support if you come to stand.
Thursdays 10.30 to 11.30. To join the class, get in contact for the Zoom link.
Classes often include a gentle Lymphatic Flow sequence, the same flow I developed after oncology massage training.
I also teach chair yoga for people living with or recovering from cancer and other long-term conditions. If that is what you need, see Yoga for long-term conditions and Yoga for cancer.

When Meg started the chair yoga class I was delighted, it meant I could exercise sitting down. It soon became clear that the routine was designed to gently exercise every part of the body without strain or pain.

From the comfort of my own home I can join Meg’s chair yoga class with others who I class as friends even though we are widespread. The chair yoga exercises improve my mobility and tick the box for regular exercise.
