Meg's Mindful Movement

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a Gentle Yoga class like?

Gentle Yoga is a slow, mixed-ability class. We start by settling with the breath, then do gentle stretching to ease what the body is holding, and finish with a guided relaxation. Stretching can be lying down, standing or seated. You do as much or as little as you want or are able. You do not need yoga experience.

What is Online Chair Yoga like?

Online Chair Yoga is a gentle class you join from home. All you need is a chair. We use breathwork, slow stretching and movement for the whole body, then relaxation. You can stay seated the whole time, or use the chair for support if you stand.

How can the classes help?

Many people say the classes help them release tension, feel calmer, and sleep better afterwards.

How do I join a class?

Use the Get in touch form on this website. You can also message me on Facebook or Instagram. There is no online booking. After you get in touch and come to a class or retreat, you can join a small WhatsApp Community.

Wednesdays at 7.30pm at Dores Village Hall, Dores, Inverness IV2 6TR. Dores is on the south shore of Loch Ness, just outside Inverness.

What should I bring to Gentle Yoga?

Bring your own mat if you have one. If not, I have mats you can use.

Is there parking at Dores Village Hall, and is it step-free?

Yes. There is plenty of parking, and the hall is step-free.

When is Online Chair Yoga?

Do I need to be flexible, fit or have done yoga before?

Please check with your own medical team before you start.
